This morning (May 30, 2014), Petrovietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) coordinated with People”s Committee of District 12 in organizing the Inauguration ceremony for Improvement and Upgrading Works of Anh Duong Special School, Tan Chanh Hiep Ward, District 12, Hochiminh City.
Attendees of the Inauguration ceremony included Mr. Le Quoc Tuan –Vice Chairman of District 12 People”s Committee; Mr. Tran Trung Hieu –Head of District 12 Education Division, Ms. Le Thi Hong Hoa –Headmaster of Anh Duong Special School; and from PVFCCo, Mr. Tong Xuan Phong –Chairman of PVFCCo Trade Union together with Anh Duong School”s teachers and pupils.
Anh Duong Special School has about 170 pupils and is dedicated for hearing loss and retarded pupils aged from 2 to 20. Addressing the Inauguration ceremony, Mr. Tong Xuan Phong believed that this new building would contribute to better conditions for the teaching and learning tasks, improving the education quality in District 12 and neighboring areas.
Reportedly, the improvement and upgrading works of Anh Duong Special School began from January 15, 2014 worth 3 billion VND sponsored by PVFCCo. The School has two storeys, eight classrooms with the total usable area of 522.5 m2.
