On August 24th, 2015, the inauguration and handover ceremony of Truc Dao Primary School in Nam Dinh Province – a construction work sponsored by PVFCCo., was held.
Attendees of the ceremony from Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) included Mr. Ninh Van Quynh – Vice President of PVN; from PVFCCo, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Luan – Director of PVFCCo North; from local authorities, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hien – Secretary of Party Committee of Truc Ninh District; Mr. Luu Van Duong – Chairman of Truc Ninh District People’s Committee; leaders, representatives of local agencies, people, teachers and pupils at Truc Dao Commune.
The construction of Truc Dao Primary School was started from 12/2014 with total financial support of VND 6.5 Billion from PVFCCo. The project has 523 m2 in total usable area with the building block of 2 floors, 8 classrooms. The classrooms are fully equipped with necessary studying tools and equipment for pupils. Also at the ceremony, PVFCCo donated 1,000 notebooks to pupils of the primary school.
Addressing the ceremony, on behalf of PVFCCo., Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Luan expressed his happiness that PVFCCo joined hands with local authorities in education socialization, and especially, in more specific, Truc Dao Primary School would contribute to facilitating teaching, studying activities, education quality improvement at the local commune.
On behalf of local authorities, Mr. Luu Van Duong – Chairman of Truc Ninh District People’s Committee was deeply grateful to PVFCCo’s personnel for raising fund to finance the construction of a modern, nice-looking, fully-equipped school at the local commune, effectively in support of teaching and studying activities of this School. Especially, Truc Dao Primary School was completed and put into operation at the beginning of the new school year, which is a very meaningful event to authorities, education agency and local residents.
