On November 21 2012, at the head office of PVFCCo, Mr Bui Minh Tien – PVFCCo’s Chairman – received the task force of Haldor Topsoe (Denmark) including Mr S. Clausen – CEO and Mr. Rasmus Breivik, Director of Haldor Topsoe Malaysia.
Attendees of the meeting with the Chairman of Board of Directors also included Deputy President & CEO Hoang Viet Dung and leaders of Chemical, Engineering and Fertilizers Divisions. Haldor Topsoe is Denmark"s large group specialized in technological licensing and supply of materials and chemicals in the industry. Vietnam"s largest gas-based urea plants such as Phu My Urea Plant of PVFCCo, Ca Mau Urea Plant of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group use ammonia production technology licensed by Haldor Topsoe.
At the meeting, the leaders of the two sides exchanged information on production, trading, orientation of investment– business of PVFCCo as well as introduced the ability to provide PVFCCo with Haldor Topsoe technology, materials and chemicals solutions in particular and for the Vietnamese market in general in the field of fertilizers and chemicals. Some projects and business activities of PVFCCo that won interest of the two parties included Amoniac-Nitrat Amon production project currently under PVFCCo"s research for investment and the chemical business and production sector in the coming time. Chairman Bui Minh Tien highly evaluated the quality of Haldor Topsoe’s technology used by Phu My Urea Plant in the last 9 years and expressed his hope to have cooperation opportunities with Haldor Topsoe in PVFCCo’s new projects.
