On 17 October 2014, various activities to honor the “50 Best Vietnamese Listed Companies of 2014” were organized in Hochiminh City by Forbes Vietnam. For the second straight time, PVFCCo was found in Forbes Vietnam’s 50 best Vietnamese listed companies.
In the afternoon of the “50 best Vietnamese listed companies” ceremony day, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien, Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors, attended the workshop on “Business administration challenges”. The workshop was a specialized forum, aiming at 50 leading Vietnamese companies, in which experiences and ideas on modern administration of business were shared to enhance efficiency of administration apparatus and maximize the use of available resources; besides, risk management in frenetic business environment and assurance of corporate transparency were discussed.
Subsequently, the “50 Best Vietnamese Listed Companies” awarding ceremony was held in the evening. The ceremony saw the presence of Mr. Tran Dac Sinh, Chairman of Hochiminh City Stock Exchange (HOSE), and representatives of 50 best Vietnamese listed companies. On behalf of PVFCCo, Mr. Hoang Viet Dung, Vice President, received the prestigious award.
In addition, with a booth located at the awarding ceremony venue, PVFCCo’s image was advertised and promoted proactively.
Reportedly, the published ranking list includes those Vietnamese listed companies with outstanding business outcomes, leading footholds in the market and high return of investment. In the ceremony, 5 other awarded affiliates controlled by PetroVietnam (PVN), in addition to PVFCCo, included PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV Gas), Drilling Mud Corporation (DMC), PetroVietnam Technical Service Joint Stock Corporation (PTSC), PetroVietnam Drilling & Well Services Joint Stock Corporation (PV Drilling) and PetroVietnam Insurance Corporation (PVI).
