Today (12th December, 2013), PVFCCo successfully held the Summary conference of production and business activities in 2013, deployment of plans in 2014 and Conference of laborers in 2014.
Attending the conference were the leaders of PetroVietnam: Mr. Phung Dinh Thuc – Chairman of Broad of Directors; Mr. Do Van Hau –President & CEO of PetroVietnam, and Members of Broad of Directors,, Vice President, Trade Union, representatives of divisions and units in PVN. From the PVFCCo, there were Mr. Le Cu Tan – Chairman of BOD; Mr. Cao Hoai Duong –President and CEO of PVFCCo and other comrades in the Party Standing Committee, BOD, Management Board, Trade Union Executive Committee, Youth Union, and other leaders of divisions and units under PVFCCo and 149 personnel representatives elected from units.
The reports released at the conference were on results of production and business activities in 2013 and the deployment of plans in 2014. Speaking at the conference, Mr. Cao Hoai Duong affirmed that the year 2013 had faced many difficulties such as increased input gas price, decreased fertilizer price. However, the timely support from PetroVietnam together with the great effort of all the employees, PVFCCo achieved even beyond the production and business targets set for 2013. Especially, in 2013, PVFCCo made several outstanding achievements such as receiving The First Class Labor Medal, successful completion of the periodic maintenance campaign of the Dam Phu My Fertilizer Plant, winning the double Vietnam Gold Star Awards.
The reports released also included the situation of the performance of policies and regimes related to the rights and benefits of the laborers in 2013, and the plans for the year 2014; the outcomes of the conferences of laborers at grass-root levels; the formation and amendment to regulations and statutes related to the rights and benefits of the laborers; proposals from laborers; the usage of 2013 Welfare fund, Bonus fund and the plan of using the Welfare fund and Bonus fund in 2014. The conference also conducted the voting to elect the personnel representatives to participate in the regular conversation with the leaders of PVFCCo.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Phung Dinh Thuc congratulated PVFCCo on its great effort to complete the targets of production and business in 2013, at the same time expressed the sincere thanks to all the employees of PVFCCo for their contributions to the success of PVN and their completion of general objectives. He also pointed out the issues put forward for PVFCCo to settle in 2014. Those are the competition in the market where the fertilizer supply exceeds the demand, the safety in plant operation, the contribution of PVFCCo to the market stabilization, the objectives of increasing revenue and profit to prepare the company for long term sustainability.
At the conference, the teams, individuals made outstanding achievements were honored to receive noble prizes, including the merit lists of PetroVietnam and PVFCCo to teams and individuals; bonuses of Trade Union of Oil and Gas Industry given to teams and individuals made excellent achievements in the maintenance of the plant…Especially, after a serious secret voting process, the leaders of PVFCCo, leaders of divisions and member units finally selected the excellent figures to be granted the titles “The team of the year” and “The employee of the year” to the teams, managers and employees of production sector, business unit and support unit. The results were as follows:
1. Production sector: Team of Ammonia workshop – Phu My Fertilizer Plant; Best manager: Mr. Le Manh Tai – Manager of Ammonia workshop – Phu My Fertilizer Plant; Best employee: Mr. Nguyen Huynh Han – Expert of the Technical Division
2. Business unit: Team of Fertilizer Division; Best manager: Mr. Vu Thi – General Manager of Marketing and Communications Division; Best employee: Mr. Nguyen Dang Khoa – Excutive of Marketing & Communications Division
3. Support unit: Team of Finance – Accounting Division: Best manager: Mr. Truong The Vinh – Secretary of PVFCCo, Chief of BOD office; Best employee: Ms. Vu Thi Thanh Huong- Specialist of Research & Development Division
