In the morning of Jan 4, 2016, at PVFCCo’s head office, the ceremony was held to officially announce and award the Decision on appointment of Mr Doan Van Nhuom as Party Committee’s Deputy Secretary, BOD Member and President & CEO of PVFCCo.
Attendees from Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group included Mr. Nguyen Quoc Khanh, Acting Secretary of Party Committee, Acting Chairman, President and CEO of PetroVietnam; Mr. Nguyen Sinh Khang, Member of Party Committee, Vice President; from PVFCCo – Mr. Le Cu Tan, member of PetroVietnam’s Party Committee, Party Committee Secretary, BOD Chairman; and other members of Party Committee, BOD, BOM, representatives of unions, leaders of PVFCCo’s divisions, offices and member companies.
Implementing PetroVietnam’s training, regular staff assignment and transfer, on December 29, 2015, PetroVietnam Member Council has signed the decisions to assign Mr. Cao Hoai Duong to assume other tasks designated by PetroVietnam, to assign and introduce Mr. Doan Van Nhuom, member of Member Council, President & CEO of PetroVietnam Oil Corporation (PV Oil) to PVFCCo for voting/ appointment to the posts of PVFCCo’s BOD member and President & CEO. PetroVietnam’s Party Committee also signed the decision on appointment of Mr. Doan Van Nhuom to the post of Deputy Secretary of PVFCCo’s Party Committee. On the basis of PetroVietnam’s decisions and introduction, on Dec 31 2015, PVFCCo’s BOD has signed the decision to appoint Mr. Doan Van Nhuom as PVFCCo BOD member and President & CEO, this decision takes effect from Jan 1, 2016.
On behalf of PetroVietnam’s leaders, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Khanh awarded the decisions on appointment and introduction for voting/appointment to Mr. Doan Van Nhuom. Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Khanh congratulated Mr. Doan Van Nhuom on his new position and expressed his belief that, on the new position and tasks at PVFCCo, Mr. Doan Van Nhuom will make every effort to best fulfill any assigned tasks, deserving the trust of PetroVietnam’s leaders, and urged PVFCCo’s personnel to provide best support to Mr. Doan Van Nhuom, especially during the early stage when Mr. Doan Van Nhuom assumed important tasks in a new workplace; PVFCCo personnel should recognize their responsibilities and roles in the current stage and circumstance, always improving and promoting solidarity spirit to complete assigned tasks, further extending the recorded success and remarkably contributing to PetroVietnam’s general success.
