In the afternoon of March 21,2018, a team of Central Committee of Vietnam Farmers Association led by Mr. Thao Xuan Sung – Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party UnionCommittee, Chairman of Central Committee of Vietnam Farmers Association visited the headquarters of PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo). The delegation was greeted by Mr. Le Cu Tan, Secretary of Party Committee, Chairman of PVFCCo, Ms. Le Thi Thu Huong, Vice President; Mr. Tong Xuan Phong, Chairman of Trade Union and other representatives of Party Committee, Trade Union, Youth Union and Divisions of PVFCCo.
At the meeting, PVFCCo’s Board of Directors briefed the delegation on capacities and scope of operations of PVFCCo, Phu My Fertilizer Plant, NPK Phu My Plant Project;on production and business achievements, social security activities, partnering with farmers and Central Committee of Vietnam Farmers Association; on production optimization initiatives, creative ideas … successfully applied by PVFCCo employees in recent years; on the market conditions and the challenges encountered by PVFCCo such as VAT policy for fertilizers, gas price, fake and poor quality fertilizers, fertilizer testing…
Speaking at the meeting, on behalf of Vietnam Farmers Association, Mr. Thao Xuan Sung thanked and appreciated PVFCCo’s efforts and contributions to the economy, its social security activities, support given to farmers throughout the country as well as its activities coordinated with Central Committee of Farmers Associationas well as its members over years; He wished the cooperation, sharing and partnering to be further promoted by PVFCCo and Central Committee of Vietnam Farmers Association.
