Over recent years, PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) and its member companies has continuosly co-ordinated with Agricultural promotion centers, agents in organizing nationwide a series of seminars “Technical guidelines on effective use of fertilizers and product introduction” to help farmers with technical guidelines on practical and suitable use of fertilizer for each type of soil and plant, at the same time to promote PFVCCo’s products.
At each seminar attended by hundreds of farmers, representatives of provincial Agricultural promotion centers made a visual presentation, which was easy to undestand and remember, of knowledge of fertilizer such as nutrition effect (N, P, K, S, …) on plants, fertilizing methods, fertilizer consumption neccessary for each type of plant, soil in different areas.
At seminars, farmers raised many queries about fertiliser using method and suggested the company to offer best products at best price. Almost all farmers attending seminars said that they have used and fully trusted in PVFCCo’s products. They also expressed their hope that PVFCCo would conduct more and more research and development of new product lines suitable with different seasons and plants.
Right after the seminars, PVFCCo and its agents have carried out direct sale with promotion gifts. A lot of farmers purchased PVFCCo’s products: Phu My Fertilizer, Phu My NPK, Phu My S.A…
In the summer-autumn crop and raining season of 2013, hundreds of seminars have been held in regions all over the country.
