HCM City, 21 July, 2015 – PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo – stock code DPM, Phu My fertilizer manufacturer and trader) said that its member company in the South-western region, South West PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Joint Stock Company (PVFCCo SW), officially listed 17 million shares on the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) with the stock code PSW on 21/07/2015 and the starting price of VND 13,500 per share.
PVFCCo SW is currently trading in and distributing Phu My branded fertilizer products and other fertilizers in the Mekong Delta – the main agricultural production region of the country; whose the rice accounts for over 50% of the area with 56% of output, contributing more than 90% of the country”s the exported rice volume; with the total annual inorganic fertilizer demand of nearly 2 million tons. PVFCCo currently holds 75% stake in PVFCCo SW.
After 11 years of operation, PVFCCo SW has developed a sustainable and extensive distribution system with Branched and Agents/ Stores of Level 1, Level 2 throughout provinces in the region and a terminal system with a capacity of 90 thousand tons in such provinces as Can Tho, An Giang, Tien Giang, Dong Thap. Along with ensuring the quality of products and services, this distribution system has helped PVFCCo SW to supply goods in a timely manner, maintain more than 30% of the nitrogenous fertilizer market share in the region, gradually develop the market share of other products such as Phu My Kali, Phu My DAP, Phu My NPK, and become the leading professional and prestigious fertilizer trader and distributor in the South West.
In 2014, PVFCCo SW”s fertilizer trading volume reached 320,252.3 tons of Phu My fertilizers, equivalent to 106.75% of the year plan. The revenue reached VND 2,569.8 billion, equivalent to 100.35% of the year plan, in which the revenue from Phu My Fertilizer accounts for more than 63%.
In 2015, PVFCCo SW aims at achieving the trading volume of 305,000 tons, the revenue of VND 2,476.7 billion, the pre-tax profit of VND 28 billion. In the long term, PVFCCo SW”s strategic objectives are to attain the sustainable development, maintain 30% of the nitrogenous fertilizer market share in the region, provide fertilizer products of high quality and effective solutions, contributing to the sustainable development of agriculture sector in the Mekong River Delta and of the shareholders” interests.
