(VOH) – On the occasion of 2013’s New Year of the Snake, Petrovietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) has offered more than 6,500 gift sets with values of 3.7 billion dongs to the poor at over 36 provinces and cities throughout the country.
The program was held from January 10, 2013 to middle of February, 2013 with the cooperation of Vietnam Red Cross Society and Vietnamese Fatherland Front. The receivers are families under preferential treatment policy, ethnic minorities, victims of Agent Orange, families in remote areas, families with low income and difficult circumstances in life…
The “Tet for the poor” is an annual social activity conducted by PVFCCo since 2008. Up to now, PVFCCo has spent about 10 billion dongs for the program. Previously, PVFCCo awarded 560 Phu My Fertilizer’s scholarships with total values of 3.1 billion dongs to students at 21 colleges and universities over the country for their outstanding academic achievement.
