Cong Thuong newspaper – From 09/06/2012 PVFCCo North, a subsidiary member of Petrovietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation PVFCCo (stock code DPM) coordinated with its dealers in launching the urea direct sales program to the farmers at some “hot spots” in provinces of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh and Quang Binh.
Accordingly, PVFCCo North will select 5 to 6 sales outlets in each province to promptly satisfy the crop demand, ensure control of sales volume at reasonable prices, and restrain speculation, price manipulation as well as ensure supply of genuine products for farmers, contributing to prevent fake fertilizer.
The direct sale program of PVFCCo has helped cooling down the market at the time when it appeared to go through price fever at some areas. The program will be considered for expansion to some other hot spots national-wide.
