Ho Chi Minh City, May 16th, 2016 – Petrovietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo – stock code DPM, Phu My fertilizer producer and trader) announced in Quarter II 2016, PVFCCo continuously focuses on the domestic consumption market with its plan to supply 365,500 tons of various Phu My fertilizers in order to intensify supplies to farmers during the 2016 Summer-Fall crop.
In particular, PVFCCo expects to market 220,000 tons of Phu My urea, along with inventory at PVFCCo’s and agents’ warehouse system of about 40,000 tons of Phu My urea, PVFCCo is capable of meeting roughly 40% of urea fertilizer demand for this crop. In addition, PVFCCo will supply 51,000 tons of Phu My NPK, 41,000 tons of Phu My Kali, 13,500 tons of Phu My DAP, increasing the total Phu My fertilizer amount supplied by PVFCCo in the Summer-Fall crop to 365,000 tons.
Phu My fertilizer products supplied by PVFCCo have high quality meeting international standards, being tested and certified by the modern laboratory of Phu My Fertilizer Plant and prestigious agencies namely The Quality Assurance and Testing Center 3 (QUATEST 3) and The Analysis and Testing Center 2 – VINACONTROL. Meanwhile, since 2015, Phu My fertilizer products have been certificated by the Ministry of Agro-Forestry-Fisheries of Japan for meeting quality standard after strict testing process at Japanese quality testing agencies. Such certification affirms that Phu My fertilizer products’ quality not only meets domestic standards, being trusted by domestic farmers over the years, but it also satisfies strict requirements on quality and environment friendliness of countries with clean, modern agriculture with high demands on fertilizer’s quality such as Japan.
Reportedly, at 11 PM on 6th May 2016, Phu My Fertilizer Plant reached the output of 9 million tons, marking another significant milestone in the process of establishment and development of PVFCCo as well as the domestic fertilizer industry.
