Ho Chi Minh City, November 16th 2015 – PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo – Stock code: DPM, producer and trader of Phu My fertilizer products) announces that on 14/11/2015, in Manila, Philippines, PVFCCo was honored to receive “ASEAN Corporate Governance” award for Vietnam’s Top 3 listed companies with highest corporate governance scores according to ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard program. On behalf of PVFCCo’s leaders, Mr. Le Cu Tan – BOD Chairman attended the Award ceremony and received this honor award.
The “ASEAN Corporate Governance” award ceremony was an important event of the ASEAN Corporate Governance Conference taking place in Manila, Philippines on 14/11/2015. Reportedly, the “ASEAN Corporate Governance” award has been included in the ASEAN Corporate Governance assessment project implemented by ASEAN Capital Markets Forum (ACMF) since 2012, aimed at evaluating and honoring listed companies leading in corporate governance in the region and is expected to enhance the image of listed company, the ability of attracting investment as well as the image of capital market, in the trend of ASEAN integration. The criteria of evaluation and scoring are based on reliable information widely provided by companies such as their Annual reports, electronic information webpages, shareholder announcements, Minutes and Resolutions of Annual General Meeting of Shareholders…
