Ho Chi Minh city, May 18th, 2014 –Petrovietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo –stock code DPM) said that PVFCCo”s Phu My urea has honorably won the title “Typical Agricultural Product of 2013” awarded by the Central Committee of Vietnam Farmers’ Union.
The ceremony to honor “Typical Agricultural Products” was officially held at Huu Nghi Cultural Palace in Ha Noi on 17/05/2014 and broadcasted live on VTV1 channel. Attendees at the ceremony including Mr. Vu Van Ninh –Member of Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister; Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong –Member of Party Central Committee, Chairman of the VNFU Central Committee and representatives from several ministries, central departments and local governments
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien –PVFCCo’s Vice Chairwoman said: “The awarding of “Typical Agricultural Products of 2013” in the “Products serving agricultural production” category to Phu My Fertilizer is our great honor, reflecting the recognition of Phu My Fertilizers by the Central Committee of Vietnam Farmers’ Union as well as fellow farmers. This will be the incentive for PVFCCo to develop and improve Phu My urea products to better serve our fellow farmers”.
Reportedly, the program to honor “Typical Agricultural Products of 2013” was organized in a strict, thorough and unbiased manner. At the final round, from over 300 candidates preliminarily selected, approved by local people’s committees and sent to the Board of Examiners for voting, the Board has selected and awarded the title to 127 “typical agricultural products” in three categories: agricultural products; processed products and products serving agricultural production.
