DDDN – On October 15, PVFCCo launched the scholarship program in 2012 – 2013’s school year (formerly known as DPM scholarship started since 2008-2009) with total values of 3.1 billion dongs for students and pupils from 21 universities and colleges across the country with good academic achievements.
Scholarship recipients include students from universities and colleges and pupils from professional schools with excellent academic achievement. Estimated number of scholarship this year is 560 portions including 15 Honor scholarships worthy of 20 million dongs/portion/year, 7 Full sets with values of 20 million dongs/portion/year and 538 Encouragement ones with value of 5 million dongs/portion/year.
New point in the scholarship program this year is that PVFCCo focuses to honor and support the “Good examples overcoming difficulties in well study” – who are students and pupils with good academic achievement but difficult family’s conditions. This is also the way that PVFCCo has implemented its commitment in conducting social responsibilities, especially the responsibility towards the future generation of the country.
It is expected that PVFCCo will notify the schools and inform on mass media on specific approval targets and standards of each major so that pupils and students can well prepare documentation and submit to the schools for preliminary qualification no later than November 01st ,2012. Based on the schools’ submission and in accordance with regulations, PVFCCo will review and announce to public the list of scholarship recipients on November 15, 2012, and proceed the scholarship award in December this year.
