Gerneral Information of Youth Union

Youth Union of PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo Youth Union) is the pioneer force that leads the supporting activities for production and business, and in the forefront of Youth Union activities, cultural and sports activities, and social responsibility works… at PVFCCo and its members..

PVFCCo’s Youth Union is directly under the leadership and direction of the Party Committee, the Board of Management of the Corporation and PVN’s Youth Union.
–       On 26/03/2004, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union issued Decision No.260/BTV-QDTCto found the Base Youth Union of Petrovietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Company, under the Youth Union of the oil and gas sector in Ho Chi Minh City.

–       On 24/12/2008, under Decision No.68/QD-DTNK of the Youth Union of the Central Business Bloc, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN’s Youth Union) at level base was founded and renamed the Base Youth Union of Petrovietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation.

–       On 05/10/2010, the Youth Union of the Central Business Sector issued Decision No.174/QD/DTNK to upgrade the PVFCCo’s Base Youth Union from base level to equivalent district-level, named the Youth Union of Petrovietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo’s Youth Union).

–       On June 26, 2014: Youth Union of Central Enterprise Bloc issued the Decision No. 214 QD/DTNK-TCKT to end the experimentalprogram and recognizing Base Youth Union to be granted superior rights.

PVFCCo Youth Union has held 6 General Meetings:

–       Genneral Meeting of PVFCCo Base Youth Union, tenure of 2004-2005;

–       Genneral Meeting of PVFCCo Base Youth Union, tenure of 2005-2007;

–       Genneral Meeting of PVFCCo Base Youth Union, tenure of 2007-2009;

–       Genneral Meeting of PVFCCo Base Youth Union, tenure of 2009-2012;

–       Genneral Meeting of PVFCCo Youth Union, tenure of 2012-2017;

–       Genneral Meeting of PVFCCo Youth Union, tenure of 2017-2022;

Organizational structure

PVFCCo Youth Union consists of 03 Base Youth Unions, 05 Base Youth Union Branches and 01 directly-controlled Youth Union Branch with operation area covering all North – Central – South regions with 646 Union Members:

For the tenure of 2017 – 2022, members of the Executive Board and Inspection Committee of  PVFCCo Youth Union are as follows:

Slogan and basic targets in the tenure of 2012 – 2017

Slogan:“PVFCCo Youth are always active and creative, resolved to overcome challenges, devoted to sustainabledevelopment of PVFCCo”.

Basic targets:

1.    100% staff and Union’s members join the Campaign promoting youths to follow Uncle Ho’s moral example, as well as study and grasp the directives and resolutions of the Party and the Youth Union.

2.    To introduce 90 elite members to the Party for fostering, in which 65members will be admitted to the Party.

3.    100% BaseYouth Unions promote and implement the Corporate Culture of PetroVietnam, PVFCCo and member companies;

4.     There are 60 youth works and tasks to be implemented by Members of PVFCCo Youth Union and directly-control Youth Union, including 02 works/tasks at Bloc Youth Union level, 05 works/tasks at PVN level;

5.    To have at least 300 initiatives and improvements in business production, of which Youth Union’s members are author or co-author, 20% of which will be recognized by union levels.

6.    To organize at least 20 forums, talk-shows, seminars, scheme-making meetings… on the themes which attract members’ interest, relating to political missions of PVN and PVFCCo.

7.    At least 50 in-housetraining courses on skills and qualification to be held by Union Members (PVFCCo Youth Union and Grassroots Youth Unions);

8.    To build and donate at least 5 boarding houses supplied by people, houses of unity, houses of love, shelter-houses. 100% Union’s members participate in volunteer activities for community.

9.    Every year, 100% key cadres of Youth Union are trained on Youth Union activities and youth activities skills;

10.    To encourage Youth Union Members, employees of PVFCCo and member companies to join humane blood donation for at least 1,000 blood units;

11.    To organize at least 20 programs, activities on communication, education and entertainment for youth and children;

12.    100% Union bases well do the management of members and tasks, including: fee collection and management, good maintenance and management of the system of documentation.

13.    At least 10 Base YouthUnion branches to register and effectively build “Typical Petrol Youth Union Branch”;

14.    To strive to get 100% of Union bases acting for environmental protection, safety, fire prevention … at work and habitat; social security for community.

15.     To participate in 100% of activities implemented by superior unions.
