In the morning of 18 March 2015, the inauguration ceremony to mark the transaction of shares of Southeast PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Joint Stock Company (PVFCCo SE) with stock code PSE took place in Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX), Hanoi.
Attendees of the ceremony included Mr. Tran Van Dung – HNX’s Chairman & CEO, Mr. Nguyen Vu Quang Trung – HNX’s Vice President, Mr. Le Minh Hong – PVN’s Vice President, Mr. Le Cu Tan – PVFCCo’s Chairman, Mrs. Le Thi Thu Huong – PVFCCo”s Vice President, Mr. Nguyen Duc Hoa – PVFCCo SE’s Chairman, leaders of PVFCCo, PVFCCo SE and the Company’s shareholders.
Addressing the ceremony, Mr. Le Cu Tan said that this marked an important event for PVFCCo SE in implementing clarity and transparency policies in business management and administration, step by step building up trust with shareholders and investors and facilitating them in best exercising their rights and obligations. Mr. Le Cu Tan also believed that PVFCCo SE’s leadership and personnel would make their best effort to keep up with their tradition for good business results over the years, propose efficient solutions to maximize its corporate value, ensuring harmonious benefits between shareholders and laborers, developing the business in line with environmental protection and social accountability.
On behalf of HNX, Mr. Nguyen Vu Quang Trung undertook to create all favorable conditions, provide services and support to PVFCCo SE in joining the stock exchange most efficiently. He hoped PVFCCo SE to always conform to the regulations on securities and stock exchange, especially those on reports, information disclosure, auditing, etc. when listed on HNX.
At the end of the ceremony, Mr. Le Minh Hong – PVN’s representative, hit the gong to officially open the PSE shares on HNX.
Reportedly, PSE is listed with 12.5 million shares and is the 4th stock code listed on HNX in 2015, adding to the total of 369 companies listed on HNX. On the first day of being “listed”, PSE has won great interest from investors at the starting price of 14,000 VND/share. This price was increased by 28.57%, ending up at 18,000 VND/share at the end of the first transaction session.
