On July 18th, 2012, Mr. Bui Minh Tien – PVFCCo’s Secretary of Party Committee & Chairman – and Mr. Nguyen Hong Vinh – Vice President represented the management board of PVFCCo – to attend the large sample field conference held in Hanoi by Department of Plant-growing- Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and Economy and Forecast Review- Ministry of Planning and Investment.
Large sample field conference was held with the participation of many senior leaders & former leaders of Government and related Ministries and Agencies as well as hundreds of enterprises’ representatives and farmers all over the country.
The delegates participating in the conference exchanged and shared experience to surmount difficulties, shortcomings and also offered the solutions and ways of more effective operation for the model  basing on the typical features of the South as well as the North in order to ceaselessly increase productivity and product’s quality.
At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Hong Vinh – Vice President of TGĐ PVFCCo gave the speech to summarize the performance results of 14 “large sample field” models deployed by PVFCCo in coordination with its partners during the last time in the Central region and Mekong Delta.
Accordingly, the results gained from the large sample field program coordinated for deployment by  PVFCCo was very encouraging, all models brings high yield and better agricultural quality while input costs have been reduced significantly.
Specifically,  due to the fact that sources of input material have been controlled and stable material region has been built, the farmers’ rice price in this model is higher than market price from 100-200 dong/kg, therefore, profits are increased significantly from 1.5 -2 million dong/hectares compared to farmers out of this model.
In the coming Spring-Winter crop of 2012-2013,  PVFCCo will continue to coordinate and associate with Departments of Agriculture, agricultural material production enterprises, food processing and trading enterprises to perfect cooperation model connecting among the units in the stage of production-processing- consumption. Especially, following the success of Spring-Winter Crop, PVFCCo will choose and extend scale of research and experiment in Mekong Delta from 1,000 – 1,500 hectares.
Previously, in the afternoon of July 16th, 2012, task delegation of  PVFCCo and enterprises in the whole country attended the meeting with leaders of Party, State at President Palace.
As known, “large sample field” model concretizes the guideline of building a centralized goods production region in connection with product processing, consumption under the guideline of Government on construction of material region associating with processing, consumption. Building “ large sample field” is also a permanent important solution to restructure the agriculture field, heighten the added value and substantial development.
