Since the early 2015 Summer-Autumn crop, SouthWest PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Joint Stock Company (PVFCCo SW) has held 30 workshops on Phu My fertilizer introduction, technical guidance and direct sales for fellow farmers in Mekong River Delta provinces.
All the workshops were attended by local agricultural agencies and authorities, Phu My fertilizer dealers and hundreds of fellow farmers. In addition to Phu My Urea already winning trust of farmers for years, PVFCCo SW technical personnel also introduced to farmers new products under Phu My brand such as Phu My DAP, Phu My Potassium, Phu My NPK. The program also included guidance on product use for plants, information on how to distinguish genuine products from counterfeits and experience exchange among agricultural and sales employees and farmers.
In the workshops, the farmers had chances to learn more about Phu My fertilizer products, exchange opinions and get answers on technical specification and product price, and eagerly registered to purchase products for trial use.
The program will be further implemented in Mekong River Delta provinces in the Summer – Autumn crop and the next crops.
