In addition to ensuring the continuous production, stable and timely supply of Phu My Fertilizer, NPK Phu My, MOP Phu My, DAP Phu My … to each region according to seasonal demand. Petrovietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) has intensified to execute its series of programs to help farmers prepare for their summer/autumn rainy season in 2017 – one of the two biggest crops of the year.

Specifically, in two months from April to May, 2017, PVFCCo has cooperated with local authorities and agencies as well as agricultural experts to organize nearly 300 seminars on fertilizer use and Plant nutrient management; review and evaluate 30 demonstration models using high quality fertilizer in the correct process ;  conduct 3 topics of nutritional analysis in soil and water , etc.

The new highlights in many programs this year are to invite foreign experts from the developed agriculture together with local technical staff to come to the field directly with farmers to prepare thoroughly for soil, water, seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, ect; to disseminate information on hydro-meteorological forecasts for the whole season supplied by the National Hydro-Meteorological Center; Inform farmer about the market situation of agricultural products; to guide farmers how to save materials as well as protect environment,etc.

“In the demonstration model of the winter-spring rice crop, we have had a chance to know and apply the advanced processes and cultivation techniques led by foreign experts and Phu My company. As a result, the yield of the crop was 71 quintals per hectare, the profit was increased by over 18 million; moreover, the fields are clean and less polluted. We  really believe in Phu My fertilizers and will continue to apply them for the upcoming summer-autumn crop”, eagerly said Mr. Hoang Van Viet, Director of Agricultural Service Cooperatives of Thieu Cong Commune, Thieu Hoa District, Thanh Hoa Province.

With an average of 200 participants per program, useful and up-to-date knowledge and information has reached about 60,000 farmers. Moreover, PVFCCo has also conducted intensively the training and dissemination of information for the chain of agents, shops, cooperative officers who are constantly interacting with farmers; cooperated with press agencies for the production of many documents … in order to spread the information and knowledge to farmers all over the country, contributing to the bountiful harvests of farmers.
