On July 09, 2015, South-East Petro Vietnam Fertilizer and Chemical Joint Stock Company (PVFCCo SE) cooperated with the Local Agricultural Promotion Center to hold a summary conference on the model of demonstrating the use of Phu My fertilizers on Durian in Xuan Bao commune, Cam My district, Dong Nai province.

Among the attendants, there were representatives of local agricultural agencies and departments, agricultural promotion center of Cam My district, Dong Nai province, Television Station of Dong Nai province, and over 100 local farmers. At the conference, Mr. Tran Viet Cuong, Director of Cam My district agricultural promotion center, presented a summary report of the demonstration on the use of Phu My fertilizers (Phu My NPK 16-16-13S, Phu MyNPK 15-15-15, and Phu My Potassium) and affirmed that: Compared to the control model that uses normal process applied by farmers on Durian, the demonstration model that uses Phu My fertilizers provided a superior productivity and profit. Durian productivity reached 18.2 – 18.5 ton/ha, an increase of 1.8 – 2 ton/ha compared to 16.2 – 16.7 ton/ha of the control model, while profit of Phu My fertilizer model is 50 million/ha higher than that of the control model.

Attending the Conference, farmers said that: The brand of Phu My fertilizer was very reputable and using this fertilizer brand resulted in higher productivity and fruit quality, as well as better controlled pests compared to those of the control gardens. Farmers also said that they were very confident to use Phu My fertilizers without any concern about fake or defective products, and, especially, they confidently relied on Phu My NPK fertilizers for durian, coffee, and other local industrial fruits and vegetables.  In a warm and friendly atmosphere, the representatives of PVFCCo SE ad local agricultural agencies and departments carefully listened to and replied farmers” questions and inquiries on how to use fertilizers, seasonal plants, etc., and helped them on how to recognize branded fertilizers of Phu My in the market.

The implementation of the model of demonstrating the use of Phu My fertilizers on Durian is a great success and assurance of product quality, provides farmers with economical and efficient farming techniques and knowledge on how to avoid purchasing fake or defective products, and is highly appraised by local government in the development of local agriculture.
