PVFCCo and PTSC Strengthen Ties Within the Petrovietnam Ecosystem
(PetroTimes) — In a move to deepen integration and maximize capabilities across the Petrovietnam ecosystem, the Petrovietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation - JSC (PVFCCo - Phu My) and the Petrovietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) have signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement covering three core areas: logistics and bonded warehousing; EPC construction and installation; and plant maintenance, upkeep, and operational support.
On 12 June 2026, in Ho Chi Minh City, PVFCCo and PTSC formalized their new Strategic Cooperation Agreement — establishing a solid foundation for both parties to leverage complementary strengths and expand coordinated operations going forward.
The event marks a further milestone in the partnership between these two member companies of the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam), building on the cooperation agreement previously signed on 4 April 2025. It reflects both parties' shared commitment to broadening connectivity and unlocking the full value of each organization's capabilities, in pursuit of greater synergistic impact across the Group's ecosystem.
In attendance were Mr. Phan Cong Thanh, General Director of PVFCCo; Mr. Cao Chi Kien, Member of the Board of Directors of PVFCCo; Mr. Tran Ho Bac, General Director of PTSC; Mr. Tran Hoai Nam, Deputy General Director of PTSC; along with senior leaders from the respective technical, functional, and operational divisions of both corporations.
Leveraging Core Strengths for Comprehensive Cooperation
As a leading enterprise in fertilizer and chemical production and trading, PVFCCo - Phu My has extensive and diverse requirements across logistics, raw material storage, infrastructure operation, and technical maintenance in support of its manufacturing activities. PTSC, for its part, commands a fully integrated industrial and energy technical services ecosystem, with well-established capabilities in logistics, seaport and warehousing operations, EPC project execution, and maintenance services — validated across numerous large-scale projects both domestically and internationally.
On this basis, the two parties have aligned on a strategic direction to become preferred partners in each other's core business operations, prioritizing mutual procurement of products and services where appropriate to actual needs and supply capacities. Both organizations will also collaborate on researching and deploying integrated service solutions to optimize operations, enhance asset utilization, and strengthen competitive positioning.
Under the terms of the agreement, PVFCCo and PTSC will focus on developing end-to-end logistics solutions and will explore infrastructure investment in bonded warehousing and logistics systems within the Phu My area — with a long-term view toward establishing a specialized logistics hub for the fertilizer and chemicals sector.
Notably, given PVFCCo's significant annual import and export volumes of NH₃ and acids, both parties will study technically viable infrastructure options, including pipeline solutions, to enhance operational autonomy, ensure safety, and optimize overall efficiency.
Creating Synergistic Value Across the Petrovietnam Ecosystem
Beyond the bilateral dimension, this agreement embodies the spirit of resource-sharing and the mobilization of internal strengths among member companies across the Petrovietnam ecosystem. Leveraging existing capacities, infrastructure, and services within the Group is recognized as a strategic imperative — one that enhances overall operational effectiveness, strengthens supply chain resilience, and drives cost optimization.
The areas of cooperation between PVFCCo - Phu My and PTSC are highly complementary and directly aligned with each party's operational realities. PTSC will bring to bear its strengths in seaport infrastructure, logistics, industrial technical services, and EPC project execution — partnering with PVFCCo - Phu My to elevate operational efficiency, optimize the supply chain, and expand storage capacity.
In parallel, both organizations will continue to research optimized solutions for transportation, warehousing, cargo handling, bagging, and product distribution, as well as developing warehouse and bonded storage facilities to improve operational flexibility and reduce total costs.
This cooperative direction aligns with PTSC's strategy to develop industrial and energy infrastructure and expand logistics service capabilities in the new phase. It also serves as a foundation for PTSC to maintain long-term partnership with Petrovietnam member companies — providing integrated, stable, and high-quality service solutions in line with increasingly demanding market standards.
The signing of the Strategic Cooperation Agreement between PVFCCo - Phu My and PTSC represents an important milestone, opening a new chapter of deeper and more enduring collaboration between the two organizations.
On this foundation, both parties will continue to translate cooperation commitments into concrete action programs — contributing to improved business performance, optimal resource utilization, and the reinforcement of collaborative strength across the entire Petrovietnam ecosystem.
