PVFCCo and Hanwa Sign Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)

On February 24, 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City, the PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) and Hanwa Co., Ltd. (Japan) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking a significant milestone in their long-term partnership. The signing ceremony took place in a solemn atmosphere with senior leaders from both PVFCCo and Hanwa.
Under the agreement, PVFCCo will ensure the supply of around 20,000 tons of urea per year to meet the demands of the Japanese market. This commitment goes beyond production volume—it is a testament to the superior quality of PVFCCo’s urea products.


Notably, during the ceremony, Hanwa’s representatives shared that their customers in Japan expressed high satisfaction with the quality of urea supplied by PVFCCo. The pure urea product meets the stringent standards of the Japanese market, underscoring PVFCCo’s ongoing commitment to enhancing product quality and fulfilling the diverse needs of international customers.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Phan Cong Thanh, General Director of PVFCCo, emphasized: “We are extremely proud that PVFCCo’s urea products are highly valued by Japanese customers. This recognition is the result of the relentless efforts of our entire team in maintaining the highest quality standards. Today’s MoU signing is not just a business collaboration but an important step toward building a sustainable, long-term relationship between our two companies.”


Hanwa’s representatives also expressed optimism that this partnership will open new opportunities, contribute to stabilizing urea supply for the Japanese market, and further strengthen the reputations of both companies on the international stage.
The signing of the MoU between PVFCCo and Hanwa is a testament to mutual trust, close cooperation, and a shared commitment to sustainable development, opening bright prospects for both parties in the future.
