PVFCCo – Phu My and TGS Partner to Advance a Green Value Chain

On April 23, 2025, at the Headquarters of PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo – Phu My), PVFCCo – Phu My and The Green Solutions Group (TGS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on strategic cooperation.
The signing ceremony was attended by the leadership teams of both parties, as well as representatives from leading international technology and financial partners in the field of green energy transition.

The event marks a significant milestone in the collaborative strategy to develop a green ammonia value chain in Vietnam.
It affirms Phu My’s strong commitment to the national policies and planning for sustainable energy transition issued by the Government.
Furthermore, implementing green ammonia projects aligns with the comprehensive green transformation roadmap of the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam), which aims to adapt to global trends and enhance sustainable value across the energy-chemical industrial production chain.

According to the MoU, Phu My will be the off-taker of green ammonia products produced by TGS at its facility in Tra Vinh. These products will be used for environmentally friendly fertilizer and chemical production.
Additionally, the two parties agreed to cooperate in the export of green hydrogen and green ammonia products to international markets, contributing to the competitiveness and value enhancement of Vietnam’s green supply chain.

Phu My will also accompany TGS during the design, construction, and technical operation phases, providing human resources training and exploring potential investment opportunities in future expansion projects.

As one of the largest ammonia producers in Vietnam, Phu My expects to closely collaborate with TGS to develop green ammonia and green urea products strongly.
