A New Driving Force for PVFCCo

With the unveiling of a refreshed brand identity for Phú Mỹ and a series of solutions aimed at "re-energizing old motivations and introducing new ones," the PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) has made a remarkable leap forward in 2024.

A Fresh Look, A Renewed Spirit

In 2024, PVFCCo’s Phú Mỹ Fertilizer Plant celebrated its 20th anniversary since its inauguration and commercial production began. Over the past two decades, PVFCCo/Phú Mỹ Fertilizer Plant has supplied nearly 20 million tons of high-quality urea to the market, significantly transforming Vietnam’s rural landscape and contributing to food security and agricultural stability nationwide.

During these two decades, the Phú Mỹ brand has become deeply ingrained in the minds of millions of farmers, forging lasting relationships with customers and partners both domestically and internationally. Its product line, including Phú Mỹ Urea and Phú Mỹ NPK, has evolved into a national brand, consistently earning the “High-Quality Vietnamese Goods” title in consumer surveys.

After more than 20 years of growth, PVFCCo has revitalized its name and brand expression—Phú Mỹ.

In early December 2024, PVFCCo launched a modernized logo and visual identity for Phú Mỹ. The brand name “Phú Mỹ” remains intact, reflecting the rich, prosperous, and vibrant legacy it has cultivated over the past two decades. The new design merges the two words into one cohesive form, with a handwritten-style font, and incorporates the PVFCCo flame logo, now representing the parent company. The fresh, modern, and environmentally friendly design features the signature emerald green of the parent company, blending hues of green (representing fertilizers) and blue (representing chemicals), symbolizing PVFCCo’s journey over the last 20 years.

A key design feature is the stylized letter "Y" with an orange-red dot above it, representing the branching growth of crops under the sun and humans joyfully welcoming prosperity. This symbolizes the company's philosophy: putting people—employees, customers, partners, and consumers—at the center of its mission, with the goal of "Prosperous customers, prosperous partners, prosperous Phú Mỹ people, prosperous investors, and a prosperous community."

Shortly after its launch, the new brand identity of Phú Mỹ began to appear at the headquarters building, Phú Mỹ Fertilizer Plant, various subsidiaries, product packaging, and at distribution points across Vietnam.

This rebranding is not just a change in image; it represents an ongoing commitment to innovation and creativity within the company, reaffirming its dedication to advancing the fertilizer and chemicals sector, and ensuring the delivery of world-class products and services that foster prosperity for customers, partners, shareholders, and employees alike.

Rising Strong to New Heights

Revamping the brand image is just one of the many "new energy injections" that PVFCCo has introduced in 2024. Throughout the year, the corporation has focused on operating its plants safely and efficiently, ensuring product quality and output, enhancing cost management, increasing market share, and applying technological and digital solutions in marketing, sales, and customer care. PVFCCo has also worked to strengthen its financial governance and risk management, ensuring a healthy financial position and better asset utilization. Additionally, the company has accelerated its investment projects to realize its long-term development goals.

PVFCCo is also strategizing to increase investments and expand its production capacity, optimizing infrastructure and resources, and integrating with the Phú Mỹ Fertilizer Plant and other petrochemical projects under the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam). Furthermore, PVFCCo plans to invest in new product lines such as hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and DEF, as part of its deep-processing product offerings.

Other initiatives include enhancing corporate governance, restructuring, improving the use of clean energy in production, and fostering a cultural renewal within the company. There is a focus on personnel development, training, and improving employee wages and benefits.

With these efforts, PVFCCo aims to meet its key objectives for 2024, which are underscored by several prestigious awards such as "Top 50 Most Effective Companies in Vietnam 2024," "Vietnam National Brand 2024," and "Enterprises for the Community." These achievements are proof of PVFCCo’s commitment to hard work and excellence.

PVFCCo announces the appointment of a new Deputy CEO and Chief Accountant, further enhancing the leadership team’s strength.

Looking ahead to 2025 with optimism and hope, PVFCCo is confident that, through unity and the spirit of "One team – One goal – One firm belief," the company will continue to create new driving forces and reach even greater heights.
