Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union Visits and Extends Tet Greetings to PVFCCo Employees

On the afternoon of February 4, 2024, a delegation from the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union (CĐDK), led by Comrade Nghiêm Thùy Lan—Member of the Standing Committee of the Group’s Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union—visited and extended Tet greetings to the Trade Union and employees of PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo - Phu My).

Accompanying the delegation were comrades: Lương Thị Hồng Nhung—Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Women's Affairs Committee of CĐDK; Nguyễn Văn Tá—Executive Committee Member, Chairman of the Inspection Committee, Head of the Organization and Inspection Department of CĐDK; and Nguyễn Ngọc Anh—Executive Committee Member, Chief Accountant, and Head of the Office of CĐDK.

On behalf of PVFCCo, the delegation was warmly received by Comrade Nguyễn Xuân Hòa—Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors; Comrade Phan Công Thành—Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Director; Comrade Tống Xuân Phong—Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Corporation’s Trade Union, along with other Standing Committee members, Head of the Women's Affairs Committee, and key Trade Union officials.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Nghiêm Thùy Lan, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union, extended New Year wishes for 2025 to all PVFCCo employees. She emphasized that 2025 presents both significant challenges and new opportunities. With high determination and the momentum of the new spring, she expressed confidence that PVFCCo will continue to achieve success and excellently fulfill its assigned targets.

For the PVFCCo Trade Union, Comrade Nghiêm Thùy Lan expressed her expectation that it would maintain its role as a leading force within the Group’s Trade Union system, pioneering innovative and creative initiatives within the oil and gas sector. She also underscored the importance of ensuring employee welfare, creating the best possible working conditions to support staff and workers in their professional contributions to the industry’s labor movement.

With many key industry programs set to be launched, she expressed confidence that PVFCCo’s workforce would work together to successfully implement these initiatives, making practical contributions to the sustainable development of both PVFCCo and the overall oil and gas sector.

In response, Comrade Nguyễn Xuân Hòa—Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors—on behalf of the PVFCCo leadership and employees, sincerely thanked the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union and Comrade Nghiêm Thùy Lan for their continuous support and facilitation of PVFCCo’s activities.

He affirmed that PVFCCo’s leadership and workforce would continue to uphold solidarity, strive to overcome all difficulties, and achieve outstanding business and production goals in 2025. Furthermore, he reiterated the company’s commitment to improving the material and spiritual well-being of employees while supporting Trade Union activities.

As part of the program, the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union distributed lucky money to PVFCCo employees, demonstrating the union’s timely care and encouragement for the corporation’s staff and workers.

The meeting concluded in a warm and friendly atmosphere, filled with determination. With the continued support and encouragement of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union, PVFCCo’s workforce remains committed to unity, innovation, and successfully executing its 2025 plans, contributing to the overall success of the oil and gas industry.
