Phu My Xanh DEF is a high-purity deionized urea solution used to treat exhaust emissions from diesel engines through the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system. Its purpose is to reduce harmful emissions released into the environment. Phu My Xanh DEF helps reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions. Nitrogen oxides are toxic gases that can harm the human respiratory system, reduce lung function, increase sensitivity to allergens, and raise the risk of respiratory diseases. Phu My Xanh DEF is a high-purity, deionized urea solution used for treating exhaust emissions from diesel engines via the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system.
Its main function is to reduce harmful emissions and minimize environmental pollution.

Phu My Xanh DEF effectively lowers nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions.
NOx is a toxic gas that can damage the human respiratory system, reduce lung capacity, increase sensitivity to allergens, and raise the risk of respiratory diseases.
It also accelerates the formation of fine particulate pollution and ground-level ozone, both of which are hazardous to human health and vegetation.

Main Ingredients

Phu My Xanh DEF is a colorless, non-toxic, non-irritating liquid consisting of 32.5% high-grade urea and 67.5% deionized, purified water.

2. How It Works

Phu My Xanh DEF works in conjunction with the vehicle’s Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions.

After exhaust gases pass through the diesel particulate filter, Phu My Xanh DEF is injected and mixed with the exhaust stream through a dosing control system as it enters the SCR catalytic converter.
Here, the ammonia derived from the urea reacts with the NOx in the exhaust, converting it into harmless nitrogen (N₂) and water vapor (H₂O), which are then released through the tailpipe.

When combined with a well-functioning SCR system, Phu My Xanh DEF can reduce NOx emissions by up to 90%.

Importantly, DEF does not clog the injection system or damage the SCR catalyst layer, ensuring long-term system performance and emission control reliability.
