VEN - According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ca Mau Fertilizer Plant and Ninh Binh Fertilizer Plant are expected to run at their full capacity in Quarter 3/2012, therefore, the fertilizer supply will be abundant and the fertilizer market is expected not to encounter much fluctuations.
A surge in urea fertilizer consumption was reported in several areas during the first six months of 2012, which translated into a sharp rise in fertilizer prices, particularly in May and June 2012. Urea shortage was noted at some locations, particularly in the Mekong Delta.
