PVFCCo – Phu My Becomes Official Partner of the Vietnam Women’s National Volleyball Team

On May 6, 2025, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation held a signing and announcement ceremony to introduce its official sponsor for the Vietnam Women’s National Volleyball Team: PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo – Phu My).

The event also featured the launch of the team’s new competition uniforms.

PVFCCo – Phu My signs a partnership agreement with the Vietnam Volleyball Federation

Mr. Lê Trí Trường, Secretary General of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation, stated that the 2022–2024 period marked a significant resurgence of Vietnamese women's volleyball. From silver medals at SEA Games 31 and 32, the national team has continuously made breakthroughs at regional and global tournaments.
In 2023, the team won the Asian Women’s Club Championship, represented the continent at the FIVB Women’s Club World Championship in China, clinched the AVC Challenger title in Indonesia, and entered the Top 4 at the 19th Asian Games.

The momentum carried into 2024 with the successful title defense at the AVC Challenger in the Philippines and a third-place finish at the FIVB Challenger Cup. Notably, the team qualified for the 2025 FIVB World Championship in Phuket, Thailand, scheduled for August.

Looking ahead, 2025 is considered a pivotal year as the team aims for strong performances in three major arenas: the World Championship, the U21 World Championship, and the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand.
To prepare, the Federation has devised a structured training and competition plan, with training phases in Quang Ninh and at the National Sports Training Center, alongside international events like the AVC Nations Cup, VTV Cup, and SEA V.League.

With a demanding competition schedule and high-performance expectations, strong investment in both professional development and logistical support is essential.The partnership with PVFCCo – Phu My is thus a powerful driver for the National Women’s Volleyball Team to continue striving for excellence, aiming to bring pride to the nation and advance the global status of Vietnamese sports.
