PVFCCo - Phu My and PTSC sign a strategic cooperation agreement in the field of logistics.

On April 4, 2025, at the headquarters of PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation—JSC (PVFCCo—Phu My), Phu My and PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement. This agreement marks a new development step in optimizing the supply chain and enhancing logistics service capacity in the fertilizer and chemical industry.

The cooperation agreement between the two entities marks an important milestone in leveraging the overall strength of the Petrovietnam ecosystem. By utilizing each other's complementary strengths - one being the leading unit in fertilizer and chemical production, and the other being a leader in technical and logistics services - this cooperation is expected to create exceptional added value for both parties and other stakeholders.

According to the signed agreement, Phu My will prioritize using PTSC’s logistics services in the Phu My area, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, to support import and export activities of fertilizer products (Urea, NPK, Potassium, etc.) and chemicals (NH3, Sulfuric Acid, Phosphoric Acid, etc.), with a total volume of over 1 million tons per year. Additionally, both parties have committed to cooperating in maintenance, repair, and operational support activities at Phu My’s plants to ensure efficiency and safety throughout the production chain.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Phan Cong Thanh - President  of Phu My, stated: “The cooperation with PTSC not only helps Phu My optimize operational efficiency but also plays a key role in ensuring a stable and continuous supply chain, timely serving both domestic and international markets.”

Mr. Tran Ho Bac - General Director of PTSC, also affirmed: “This cooperation is the beginning of many new development opportunities for PTSC in the field of logistics and technical services. It reaffirms PTSC's position as a reliable partner in the oil and gas service chain and supporting industries.”

The agreement will last three years and will be extended based on mutual agreement between the two parties. This serves as a crucial foundation for a long-term strategic partnership, contributing to sustainable development goals, enhancing competitiveness, and affirming the pioneering role of enterprises in the Oil and Gas sector.
