Petrotimes, 18 November 2019On 18 November 2019, in Hanoi, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) held a Ceremony of appointment of Mr. Nguyen Van Mau as Vice-President.
At the ceremony, Ms. Bui Thi Nguyet - Head of Human Resources Department of PVN announced the decision of PVN’s Member Council on the appointment of Mr. Nguyen Van Mau, Chief Accountant and Chief Financial Officer of PVN, as Vice-President of PVN.

Mr. Le Manh Hung congratulated Mr. Nguyen Van Mau on his new position, and emphasized that Mr. Nguyen Van Mau is a well-trained, experienced, competent person who has gone through many important positions and gained trusts from PVN’s leadership and key personnel to entrust him with the responsibility of Vice-President in charge of PVN’s finance and accounting.On behalf of PVN, Mr. Le Manh Hung, President & CEO of PVN and Mr. Pham Xuan Canh, Member of the Member Council handed the appointment decision and congratulated Mr. Nguyen Van Mau on his new position.

In the context of implementing the development strategy in the new phase, Mr. Le Manh Hung proposed Mr. Nguyen Van Mau to implement the selected action program, collaborate with PVN’s leadership and functional departments to perform the tasks of reviewing, evaluating and managing financial issues to serve PVN’s development goals in the coming years.

Speaking at the ceremony, the newly-appointed Vice-President expressed his gratitude for the trust of PVN’s leadership and key personnel. As the Vice-President, Mr. Nguyen Van Mau committed that with his responsibilities, experience and capacity, he will make best efforts to strive and collaborate with PVN’s leadership and staffs, workers and employees in performing tasks of managing and handling financial issues in order to ensure PVN’s business and production activities are favorable, safely moving towards PVN’s sustainable development in the near future.
