PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo – Securities symbol: DPM) has recently been voted by the investor community in Top 3 Midcap listed companies with the best IR activities voted by investors in 2019 due to strict compliance with information disclosure activities as regulated and well performance in Investor Relations (IR) activities. This is the 7th year that DPM has been voted among the group of listed companies with the best IR activities on the stock market in Vietnam. 

On 9 August 2019, Mr. Le Cu Tan – President & CEO of the Corporation attended the Announcement and Awards Ceremony by the Financial Information Portal Vietstock and Vietnam Association of Financial Investors. At the Announcement ceremony for the voting results, DPM is honored to be one of three companies in Midcap group that have successfully passed the first round of evaluation and the second round of voting, and be the companies with the highest votes from the investor community through the online channel of vietstock.vn.

“This is DPM’s honor to be voted by investors and honored in the group of listed companies with the best IR activities in 2019. Since its listing, DPM has paid much attention for IR activities, being aware that this is one of the important activities to assess the right value of an enterprise, improve stock liquidity and ensure the interests of shareholders and investors. For the upcoming period, the IR activities of DPM will keep being maintained and promoted in order to better support the valuation and attract investors when the government divests” - Mr. Le Cu Tan said.

According to the Organization committee, the IR Awards 2019 had surveyed all 713 listed companies in three categories: Largecap, Midcap and Small & Micro Cap, and selected 45 best companies to go on to the final round from 259 listed companies that meet the information disclosure standards according to survey criteria. Accordingly, the voted companies are companies that strictly comply with increasingly stricter regulations on information disclosure (regulated in Circular No. 155/2015/TT-BTC), while at the same time pass through the strict assessment round on IR activities from professional financial institutions as well as receiving the highest votes from the investor community. Through the voting of investors and the evaluation of financial institutions, the Organization committee has selected Top 3 listed companies with the best IR activities voted by investors & Top 3 listed companies with the best IR activities voted by financial institutions in accordance with three categories of capitalization. The voting criteria are based on the assessment of IR activities, which are “Transparent - Fast - Effective”. In addition to the mandatory obligation of responding to information disclosure for listed companies, investors also voted based on the criteria of personal satisfaction with IR activities of that company, such as the quality and transparency of announced information; interaction levels with the investor community; website quickly provides sufficient information, etc.
