On April 07, 2017 at Loc Ninh District, Binh Phuoc Province, PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) and Second General Department - Ministry of Defense, co-held the inauguration ceremony and handed over the “Gratitude to Comrades” house to Mr. Tran Van Quang, a former serviceman from Second General Department and also a war invalid currently facing many difficulties in life. Mr. Phan Van Viet, Party committee secretary and political commissar of Second General Department;  Mr. Tran Van Dao, Chairman of PVFCCo’s Veterans Association along with authorities and local residents attended the ceremony. This house is a part of the PVFCCo-sponsored program which constructs 20 houses for veterans via Second General Department, Ministry of Defense with the total value of VND1.4 billion ̣(VND70 million/each).

The Second General Department and the family of Mr. Tran Van Quang were deeply touched with the donation. From now on, they will live in a new and decent house instilled with a sense of “Gratitude to the Comrades”, a “true home” to help Mr. Quang’s family settle down, particularly when the rainy season is around the corner.
